She founded A Career Advantage in June 1983, providing a wide variety of business support services. In 1993, she made résumé writing her focus and attained the certification of Nationally Certified Résumé Writer in 1995. Attendance at national career association conference ensures she stays on top of industry trends.

Kathy's work has been published in more than a dozen publications including Sales & Marketing Résumés for $100,000 Careers, Professional Résumés for Accounting, Tax Finance & Law, Gallery of Best Résumés, and Professional Résumés for Executives, Managers & Other Administrators.
